Features

  • Redesigned Journey builder: Journeys now have a single builder for creating and editing, with a new header, a settings panel (name, description, dry-run mode, audience and exit rules), email previews in the activity log, test sends, one-click duplication, and a warning before you leave with unsaved changes.
  • Calculated fields in Data Studio: Build your own fields from formulas, with autocomplete and a browsable list of functions and columns. You can filter, group and summarize on them like any other column.
  • More flexible data sets: Custom joins can now connect to any source and use multiple matching conditions. Each column can be set to group or summarize (sum, count, average and more), filters can combine “and”/“or” logic, and filter edits wait until you click Apply.
  • Filter against another column: In Records and Data Studio, a filter can compare one field against another field, not just against a fixed value.
  • Easier dataset management: Duplicate a dataset straight from the Datasets table, copy a dataset’s setup into a new one, and see clear validation results when you save.
  • Shareable Records views: A Records view now has its own link, so you can bookmark it or send it to a teammate.
  • SMS campaign upgrades: Message bodies now offer personalization tags with autocomplete, you can choose which audience phone field to send to, campaigns show delivery metrics, and you can send yourself a test SMS. Creating a campaign now walks you through SMS signup and only lets you pick a compliant messaging campaign.
  • Clearer audience details: Audiences built from a dataset now show and link to that dataset, along with the filters behind them.
  • Email reporting improvements: Email performance tables can be exported to CSV, subject lines link to their campaign details, and rates display at the right precision.
  • Inventory: Vehicle sets can filter by relative dates (for example, “last 30 days”), and the vehicle list is now paged and shows which rows you’re viewing.
  • Call Tracking: Accounts that don’t have Call Tracking yet can turn it on from the Business Numbers page.
  • Access and navigation: Marketing pages now follow the Marketing permission, browser tabs show the current account’s name, and organizations can set which apps appear for which accounts, and in what order.
  • Table improvements: Long IDs in tables are shortened and come with a copy button, and several screens (Google Ad Groups, Global Segment Templates and the Customers list) now use the updated table design.
  • Report dates: Report dates now show as calendar dates (for example, “Aug 15, 2026”) instead of relative times like “3 weeks ago”.

Performance

  • Faster Data Studio: Data Studio now runs queries through a new query engine, skips data it has already loaded, and no longer runs the same query twice. Results stay on screen with loading placeholders while new data arrives, instead of a blank spinner.
  • Quicker formula editing: The calculated-field editor loads ahead of time, so it opens without a delay.
  • Faster audience picker: Large audience lists in Journeys load page by page, and search runs on the server.

Bug Fixes

  • Data Studio: Filters stay in place when you add columns or tables. Removing a sorted or grouped column no longer breaks a dataset. “Contains” filters match correctly again. “Start data set from here” now matches what Records shows. The join type shown matches the one the query actually uses. When a run fails, you now see the error and the query that was generated.
  • Records: “Unformatted” numbers now appear raw and “Formatted” numbers keep their decimals. Quick-filter search looks only in the selected column. Filters that match on a list of items no longer get cut off on narrow screens.
  • Journeys: Saving and publishing is more reliable: failed saves retry, and errors are reported instead of passing silently. Journey names, wait times, audience changes and UTM settings now save correctly. Browser back and forward work as expected when you leave with unsaved edits.
  • Email reporting: The Subject Performance table and its CSV export no longer cut off or hide subject lines, and rates in the CSV export now show as percentages.
  • Email templates: Test Send now appears only for the email messages it applies to.
  • Audiences: Syndicated audiences can no longer be scheduled for syndication a second time.
  • Datasets: Duplicate on the Datasets table works again.
  • Inventory: Ruleset filters stay applied when you search, sort or change pages, and repeated CSV exports no longer duplicate rows.
  • Spreadsheet exports: CSV files now open correctly in Excel and other spreadsheet apps, including special characters.
  • Settings and admin: Fixed vendor selection when creating or editing a property, a 404 error when promoting segments between environments, and how Call Tracking reports a successful account update.
  • Tables: Column headers now line up with their columns.
