Features

  • Syndicate audience lists by Account ID: Syndicating an audience list now offers a third routing option, “Account ID”, which sends each member to the matching destination account with no attribute mapping needed. The option turns on only when the source list has a correctly named account_id column, and it names any column that differs only in capitalization so you can fix it. The existing options are now called “Account Attribute (Exact)” and “Account Attribute (Partial)” to make the three choices clearer.
  • Search data sets: The Data Sets list has a search bar, so you can find a data set by name without scrolling.
  • Easier number formatting: When you create a number property in the Data Model, the formatting choices now start with the most common ones (Unformatted, then Formatted), followed by Percentage, Currency, and Duration.
  • Open data sets in a new tab: Data set names in the list are now links, so you can open one in a new browser tab. Data Studio also warns you before you refresh or close a tab with unsaved changes.

Bug Fixes

  • Element-match filters work again: Data Studio queries that use element-match filters were failing to run. They now return results as expected.
  • Accurate test email results: Sending a test of an automated email no longer says “sent successfully” when the email was actually refused. You now see the real reason, such as no matching shoppers. Test sends also stay available after you open an email’s details page.
  • Cleaner Data Studio navigation: Leaving the query builder now fully returns you to the Data Sets list, and “Create data set” always starts from a blank slate instead of sometimes reopening the last data set. Old shared links still open the right data set.
  • Old Data Studio links redirect: Bookmarks and links to the former Data Sets and Data Sources addresses now take you to the right page.
  • Data Sources paging fixed: Moving between pages in the Data Sources list no longer jumps back to page 1.
